My Own Personal Diet Recipes

Hello everyone. Today I want to share on what I eat when I diet.

My diet is pretty much based on, no gluten no processed foods/drinks and eating mostly fiber and protein.

This may work for some people, but I highly advise that you should consume some gluten (not refined) to keep your body energized.

Anyways below here you will see my main ingredients and cooking style on what I eat.

  • Tofu
  • Beans (Sometimes I would eat them)
  • Chicken Breast
  • Salmon
  • Tuna (Sometimes)
  • Eggs

* Fruit Lists *

  • Apple
  • Orange
  • Tangerine
  • Pear (Sometimes)
  • Watermelon (If I can buy one)
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries (Sometimes)
  • And some other more fruits like Melon

* Tea List *

  • Green Tea
  • Oolong Tea (I used to drink tons)

 

My cooking methods:

Veggies:

For vegetables, most of the veggies that are leafy or similar to broccoli, I would first put in a strainer inside a open pot filled with some water to steam my veggies. Once I let the steam cook the veggies about 5 minutes, I turn of the fire and would fry them mostly with olive oil. I would mix broccoli with garlic and carrots at times. I would fry and add spices like salt, pepper, and some herbs until I get the taste right.

Meats:

For most meat like chicken breast and salmon I prefer both frying or cook inside an oven (Oven would be more healthy you can do that with veggies too). I would usually put olive oil or grape seed oil (canola oil is fine too) and fry it lightly with chopped chicken breast or whole salmon. I also put garlic and to top it of I put salt and pepper. I keep cooking until both are ready to eat. I also add rosemary or thyme. Oregano would be nice as well.

Other Protein Based Food:

  • Eggs: I mostly eat fried omelets. I would put in carrots and some garlic ( I just love garlic and it helps with digestion too) and mix it a little bit. Then I put olive oil or canola oil and then fry it until its cooked on both side. I like to add salt and pepper to it.
  • Tofu: For this one I usually get a packaged tofu ( I live in Korea and they sell tons here ) rinse them with clean water and then slice them. Once rinsed and sliced, I would use soy sauce little bit for topping. It’s more of an Asian thing (I think).

Fruits:

I mostly just wash fruits and eat them raw like apples and strawberries. Fruits like oranges and watermelon are self-explanatory. I don’t add any sugar or anything. I love to eat it as it is.

Tea:

Once I am done with my meal, I would wait 30 minutes and then drink my green tea. It usually helps and burns more calories that way. I would drink green tea three times a day. If you can get oolong tea, that’s actually much better. Just be careful as it is more potent. I suggest drinking green tea first and then oolong next.

The above image is broccoli, carrot, green onions, garlic, chicken breasts, and onions with some spices like salt and pepper. I cooked the chicken breast earlier and added them later with the veggies. It tasted good in my opinion.

Oven Salmon With Brocolli

This one would be the salmon with broccoli cooked through oven. I know the veggies are burnt but it was still good. I added sliced garlic on top of the salmon seasoned with pepper and salt. I also added whole garlic on the plate to eat them after cooked through the oven.

Blue Berry

I usually eat frozen blueberries for dinner. I like to keep my dinner light.

That’s about it for this post. I don’t know what your food choice would be, but this is how I ate and lost weight while eating in small amounts with moderation. Just remember that no matter what good foods you eat, you won’t lose weight if you don’t eat in some deficit.
